Looking for a Miracle, LLC is a holistic wellness center addressing emotional and behavioral health for adults and youth. Using integrative medicine to treat the whole person, individual and group programs offered at Looking for a Miracle, LLC use psychotherapy, nutrition, medical massage and other manual therapies, and spiritual support to help clients reach their goals for a life worth living.
The vision of Looking for a Miracle, LLC is to provide effective mental health treatment using techniques which empower clients, promote balanced health and minimize the need for medication management for individuals with less than severe and persistent mental illness. Therapeutic treatment modalities include individual and group sessions using therapies such as CBT, DBT and solution focused treatments. These therapies provide effective and successful outcomes with less time spent in treatment. Psychoeducational workshops are available to reinforce skills learned, or as an introduction to emotional and behavioral management skills in a step down from a formal treatment regimen.
Looking for a Miracle, LLC offers diagnostic assessment in the areas of psychological diagnosis, personality testing, academic/achievement assessment and neurocognitive testing. Assessment reporting is provided to the client, or the parent/guardian of minor aged clients. Looking for a Miracle, LLC partners with educational institutions who seek assessment consultation and can provide testing on the institution's behalf. In these instances, assessment reports will be provided to the institution and the client.
The philosophy of Looking for a Miracle, LLC is rooted in the mind-body connection and views physical distress as a precursor to mental dis-ease and vise-versa. Proper and health-ful nutrition, physical activity and balanced self - care are just as important in managing one's mental health. Looking for a Miracle, LLC works with clients to develop a healthy approach to diet and exercise that supports improved, strengthened and sustained positive mental health outcomes. Education about nutrition, the availability of medical massage and other manual therapies, and the offering of exercise classes are
available and are used to teach clients how the mind and body work together and ways to affect one to soothe the other.
Youth services at Looking for a Miracle, LLC are rooted in Applied Behavioral Analysis and Play- therapy for clients ages five (5) - eleven (11). Adolescents and teens receive treatment using the age-appropriate modalities used with adult clients. All modifications to treatment based on age follow evidenced based protocols.
Looking for a Miracle, LLC wants to offer these services, and others as they develop, to families and individuals facing obstacles in receiving quality mental health services. To address this need, Looking for a Miracle, LLC, seeks to partner with agencies and organizations who serve marginalized populations and offer our programs to supplement what the organization/agency provides. Our goal with these partnerships is to extend the message of holistic health care into under-served communities
and provide an alternative and empowering approach to treatment.
